Dark ruby red, fairly simple nose of cherry, berry fruits with typical South Africa smoky note. A bit of air revealed the sweet fruits on plate, though not as sweet as some cheap Aussie Shiraz, with cherry and smoke. Lacks of acidity make it taste flabby, with rather short finish as expected. This is a very basic wines I will not buy & drink again.
I just don’t understand myself, why bother to buy such cheap supermarket wines to drink where I have few hundreds bottles of fine Shiraz (Grange included) in my cellar?
