Description
Château Saint-Paul Cru Bourgeois 2007
Jancis Robinson *Good Value* Deep crimson. Very healthy-looking. Glamorously deep colour and then just a slight whiff of odd oak and very dry and chewy on the end. Appetising and really quite opulent. Only problem is that ideally you should keep it a bit.

James Suckling Very aromatic with plums and light jam. Full body, with slightly chewy tannins and a medium finish.

Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate Dark ruby/garnet, with notes of sweet red and black currants, licorice and roasted herbs, this blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot boasts round, generous flavors and good sweetness and flesh. (RP)

Wine Spectator This has nice sappy kirsch and blackberry fruit, with a lively tobacco edge and a tarry hint on the finish. (JM, Web-2012)
