Description
This wine, who’s based on a gravel and argyle soil, is a fourth Grand Cru classified Pauillac from the 1855 prestigious list.
The vineyard spreads on about 70 hectares of an average age of 35 years on a gravelly soil and production amounts to 422 barrels per year depending on the vintages, that is to say 500 to 510.000 bottles for an average yield per hectare of 5.400 to 5.500 litres.
Grape varieties : Cabernet Sauvignon 70%, Merlot Noir 25 % et Cabernet Franc 5 %.
The whole harvest is done by hand and the wine is matured entirely in barrels, of which 50% in new barrels, for 16 to 18 months depending on the year, before being bottled.
